Open all year, The Westerlea Hotel is a privately owned and run by Chris Reid, a local lad. This beautiful former Victorian home has easy access to the A96 and a is just a few minutes walk from fantastic beaches and golf courses. Many of the Highland's finest golf courses are within easy reach, namely Nairn, Nairn Dunbar, Brora, Golspie, Castle Stuart and Royal Dornoch to name just a few.
The hotel stands in it's own grounds next to the Nairnshire Farming Society's showfield a short distance away from the Moray Firth, famous for dolphin watching. Nairn is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Highlands of Scotland and visit the many distilleries, castles and landmarks including Culloden and Fort George, which are only a short driveaway. You can enjoy coastal and woodland walks, birdwatching, cycling, fishing, field sports and numerous festivals/Highland Games in both Nairn and other nearby towns. Just ten minutes drive from Invemess Airport and twenty minutes into the city of Inverness.
