The White Hart is a family operated hotel. We take great pride in what we offer and have a genuine love for our hotel, all its creaks, wonky walls and 600 years of history! Witham is located in the south of East Anglia, a beautiful rural area, unspoiled by mass tourism and surrounded by beautiful villages and small market towns to explore. The unique port town of Maldon is also right on our doorstep, with its promenade, home of the crazy Maldon Mud Race, its stunning estuary walks and views of the Blackwater estuary.
It's a real favourite with the day-trippers! Another short trip down the A12 will take you to Dedham Vale. Walk the paths and enjoy the countryside made famous by John Constable's paintings. Chelmsford's Highlands Park is also close to hand. Home of the annual V festival, with top international artists drawing the crowds from all over the UK.
