Eat, drink, sleep. Whatever the weather we can offer you a warm, friendly welcome, with comfortable rooms and a choice of bars. We also have a function room which can be hired for events and parties.
To stay at The Ship Hotel, Allonby is to follow in the footsteps of Charles Dickens and Wilkie Collins who they stayed here in 1857. Dickens descibed the Ship as "a capital little homely inn looking out upon the sea.a clean nice place in a rough wild country".
