About the Business
The Rosery is a former Manor House which was converted to a hotel in the 1970s. It dates back to the early 1800s when it was built for a religious group. It has had many famous visitors in its day, including Queen Mary who used to visit when it was owned by the family of one of her ladies in waiting. It has also featured in an epsiode of Lovejoy the comedy drama staring Ian McShane.
The hotel Has been owned by Tony Sullivan since 2003 and is managed by a dedicated team. We offer large ensuite rooms, spacious Restaurant and lovely Victorian Garden. There is ample free parking and free internet for all guests. For best rates drop us an email or give us a call, we do get very busy when the Racing and Sales are on in Newmarket.
If you would like to book your private party please call for details, we will host a few select functions during the year on dates that dont clash with the racing calender. We serve a traditional Sunday lunch and the Restaraunt is open to non residents 7 days a week.
