About the Business
Situated in the heart of the Forrest of Bowland lies the historic market town of Clitheroe, in Lancashire's beautiful Ribble valley. Until 1928 The Old Post House Hotel and Restaurant was a fully functional post office, serving the local community. Since then it has become an iconic establishment of unique character and reputation. Whatever your reason for staying at The Old Post House, whether it be for the spectacular scenery and walking or cycling we can provide secure cycle storage, packed lunches and even cycle hire. Also available at reception are maps detailing numerous walks and hikes for all abilities plus the best cycle routes.
Our recently refurbished restaurant serves traditional homemade cuisine, using the best locally sourced produce. The restaurant is open lunchtimes and evenings and is also open to non residents. Ribble Valley and surroundings areas.
