About the Business
Set in an elevated position within the Magazines Conservation Area, the Magazine Hotel boasts a unique viewpoint of the River Mersey and New Brighton promenade, which allows day trippers and walkers to take full advantage of all that the pub has to offer. Set within a quiet residential area, there is a strong community feel which extends into the overall ambience of the pub and allows customers old and new to feel very much at home. With its extensive beer garden offering plenty of seating areas in which to enjoy the stunning views, it is a literal hotspot on a warm summer's day. Situated to the rear of the pub beer garden is the Magazine Bowling Club, first established in 1853 which has always maintained a strong affiliation with the pub.
The Magazine Hotel is one of the oldest pubs on the Wirral, with its building dating back to 1759, and still maintains much of its original character and charm.
