About the Business
Welcome to The George Inn, Wedmore an ancient Coaching Inn and one of the oldest and most prominent buildings in this large village. Your host, Gordon Stevens, capitalising on his long experience of renovating old properties together with 14 years in the licensed trade, took over The George Inn in late 2010 and started the long process of restoring it to its former glory after years of neglect.
All ground floor areas have now been refurbished in harmony with the character of the building whilst introducing a contemporary twist. The George Inn is also proud to offer five beautifully refurbished en suite double bedrooms.
