About the Business
The Tennant's Arms at Kilnsey nestles under the famous Kilnsey Crag in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, approximately 12 miles from Skipton. Built in the 17th century as a coaching inn for travellers passing through Wharfedale, The Tennant's Arms is ideally situated for walking, touring and fishing. Kilnsey Angling Club (establised in 1840) is based here with fishing on the river Wharfe and Skirfare. Kilnsey Park is nearby which offers fishing, nature trails along with a farm shop.
At the Tennant's Arms, you will be assured a warm welcome, a fantastic location, great home cooked fresh food with a wide variety of dishes to suit all tastes, a blazing log fire and a high standard of accommodation.
We are in easy reach of Leeds which has some of the best shopping in the North, the market towns of Skipton and spa towns of Harrogate and Ripon or for visiting Bolton Abbey and numerous other attractions.
