About the Business
Taplow House Hotel was an Elizabethan manor built in 1568 and a devastating fire completely destroyed that house in 1660. The existing Georgian property was built in 1751 and it remained a private residence until 1958. Today, this hotel in Taplow, Buckinghamshire, on the border of Berkshire, remains privately owned, with 3 sister properties: The Royal Garden Hotel in London, the Goodwood Park Hotel and York Hotel in Singapore.
As well as idyllic surroundings the main attribute of the hotel is its staff; welcoming you with a smile and are genuinely happy to help to make your stay a memorable one. Leave the city behind and come and enjoy a peaceful country house hotel which is charmingly English and understatedly modern with a service designed around you.
