About the Business
Here you will find a special atmosphere (in the words of our visitors), and we'll care for you as our guests: seeing you're comfortably accommodated and well fed, enjoying produce from our farm, as well as our talented local food producers. In the evening enjoy a glass of wine by an open fire.
We can be found in the nurturing Shropshire countryside, where you can Escape to the Country on walks in our private woodland and farm or by the river banks exclusive to our guests: home to rare wildlife. Alternatively, find a bench in a walled garden. Take a self catering cottage or plan a celebration.
The manor of Soulton -- set in our own working farm and woodland -- has a long history: back through the hands of a Tudor Lord Mayor of London and a Saxon adversary of the Viking King Cnut, to the Bronze Age. We are dedicated stewards of this long heritage, and we are working hard to be more and more sustainable.
