About the Business
As a successfully growing business, Shiva Hotels set up Shiva Foundation in 2012 with the purpose of contributing to the fight against the horrific industry that is child trafficking. Having been astounded by the shocking figures, the foundation, together with the Hilton Foundation and iPartner India, organised a launch event. Together, they raised £180,000 for various organisations involved in the prevention, rescue and rehabilitation of victims in India and in the UK.
Since then, Shiva Foundation has cultivated a deeper level of knowledge about the wider human trafficking industry and the response of the UK government, NGOs and donors to this issue.
