About the Business
We would like to invite you to explore our website and get just a small insight into what we believe to be one of the most unspoiled and beautiful regions of the Lake District. We are Michael and Elena Law and together with daughter Charlotte offer you a warm, friendly Cumbrian welcome to our characterful Hotel here in Holmrook in the Western Lake District. We have 15 comfortable ensuite rooms and we are located in a stunning roadside setting adjacent to the beautiful River Irt, famous for it's 'gin-clear' waters and it's annual run of Atlantic Salmon.
This is the River Irt which flows through Holmrook enroute to its confluence with the Esk in the estuary at Ravenglass. Hardknott Pass is the route that carries a minor road between Eskdale and the Duddon Valley in the county of Cumbria, England, in theLake District National Park.
