About the Business
The County Hotel is a family run business. We are customer focused and endeavour to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as we can. Situated approximately 2 miles from the banks of Loch Lomond, one of the magnificent sea lochs of Scotland, our Hotel provides 10 en-suite bedrooms, and a 50 seater dining area for you to enjoy your evening meals. The County Hotel is based at the entrance of Helensburgh birthplace of Television inventor John Logie Baird.
The town Centre is approximately 1 mile from the hotel, the town boasts a seaside view that overlooks the firth of clyde. Helensburgh hosts the highland games and has clan gatherings in nearby villages every year. Helensburgh is also home to world renowned architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh who designed everything inside the Hill House owned by the Blackie family, the Hill House is approximately 2 miles from the hotel and 1 mile from the town centre at the top of Sinclair Street.
