Welcome to the Black Lion Hotel in the heart of Richmond North Yorkshire. Once an elegant Georgian coach house, we're now a family-run hotel where you'll find a warm friendly welcome. Our warm, attentive staff will be on hand to help you with anything you require, and from your hosts Les and Claire all the way down, we're committed to making sure your stay is perfect from the moment you walk through the door. Step inside our award-winning bar, and you can relax in front of cheery open log fires and enjoy a range of beers, wines and spirits, as well as cask ales like Black Sheep and Timothy Taylors and more. Guests can dine in our Snug next to the bar, or in the first-floor Shiraz Restaurant and Function Room. With seating for up to forty guests, the Shiraz can accommodate weddings, parties, christenings and business meetings in stylish surroundings. Our extensive menu covers modern takes on classics and light bites as well as more traditional fare.
